I. GET IN TOUCH
Fill out the contact form with your name, date, location of the event and details of what you are looking for. Have any specific styles in mind? Let us know! You will hear back from us within 24 hours with our availability and more detailed packages information and pricing. Please note, there might be a delay during the weekends, as we are usually at the weddings Friday through Sunday.
II. SCHEDULE YOUR PRE-WEDDING CONSULTATION
We would love to meet you and your fiancé via Zoom for your pre-wedding consultation, so we can get to know each other better, discuss the details of your wedding day and help you navigate throughout your planning process.

III. RESERVE YOUR DATE WITH KIMFILMS
Once you finalize your package selection, it's time to reserve your date with KimFilms Weddings, yay! After we receive your signed contract, 30% non-refundable booking fee is required to hold the date. After your date is officially booked, we will move forward with the planning process. We will provide additional information, resources, inspiration, timeline building assistance and much more!

Drone Coverage & House Rules
KimFilms Weddings is sometimes limited by rules imposted by registrars, ministers and venue management as to what can and cannot be done.
This also applies to the Drone Footage that is complimentary included in all our collections. There are some drone laws that apply to every state in the U.S., including California, and were created by the federal government, that we must follow.
Federal rules forbid operating a drone within 5 miles (8 kilometers) of most airports or above 400 feet (120 meters). We would not be able to take off the drone at your hotel or venue if there is a close by airport or… Guess what? A Disneyland or any other amusement park.
MUSIC SELECTION
Can I choose the song for my wedding video?
Generally we advice against choosing your own music. Why? Most of the times couples have “their” song or a song that is sentimental and meaningful to them. Even though, that audio recording is beautiful, it might not necessarily go with your wedding video. Music selection is one of the most important steps in the postproduction. We use royalty free music for our edits and work it up with a pretty complex sound design, that includes audio recordings from your wedding day and additional sounds. Our choice of music is greatly influenced by our professional judgement, artistic style and, of course, your final video questionnaire, where you determine what style of edit you would like for your video.
We do not edit to the popular music. The popular music is copyrighted and to be able to use it without committing a copyright violation which could subject you to statutory damages of up to $150,000.00 plus attorney’s fees, you would need to get permission from the copyright owner or a licensing agency that has the right to license your use.
PERMITS
Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission, clearance permits, etc., which may be required for KimFilmsWeddings each event, public or private.
It applies for Engagement Photo Shoots, Love Story Videos and the locations of the Wedding Day itself.
Any additional cost of shooting location (like studio) must be covered by client.
TRAVEL FEES
How much is the travel fee to your Location?
We love to travel, and would love to go wherever your adventure takes you. No distance is too far! Travel fees are based on your Package selection, as it depends on how many team members are coming to your Wedding as well as how far are we going.
Please make sure to discuss Travel Fees if your Wedding is outside of Irvine, CA (over 45miles).
RESERVATION AND PRICING
How much is Booking Fee and How to Reserve the Date?
RESERVATION::
30% non-refundable Booking Fee is required to secure the date. After the contract is signed and the fee is paid - the date is officially booked.
PRICING:
KimFilms Weddings offers dynamic pricing that is based on your date selection. KimFilms Weddings cannot lock-in any Proposal Pricing if no reservation was officially made. Our pricing is subject to change throughout the year based on our availability and demand.
