THE ARTIST
I’m Alex Kim — filmmaker and founder of KimFilms.
My work focuses on observing atmosphere, emotion, and the subtle details that give every celebration its own identity.
My perspective has been shaped by years of filming weddings across California and destination celebrations beyond — drawn to the quiet anticipation before the ceremony, the energy of the reception, and the fleeting in-between moments that often say the most.
Alongside me is my wife and creative partner, Marina Kim, whose intuitive sense for timing and movement helps guide the day with a thoughtful presence while capturing the candid moments that surround it.
Together, we approach each celebration with intention — preserving not only what happened, but the atmosphere and emotion that made it unforgettable, so that years from now you don’t just see the day again, you feel it.
